The South side of the lake is very different from the much busier North shore.  It’s still very country, and very tranquil, and only a few foreigners live here. The few communities Like San Pedro Tesistan, San Luis Soyatlan and Tuxcueca are fishing and farming communities and still do not have the  infrastructure or conveniences of services as the cities on the other side of the lake.  But it’s peaceful and picturesque, and authentic.
